This should lead you to a pop-up where you can easily accelerate the sign-up process by linking your Google, GitHub, or X account. There’s also an option to sign up via email if you’re not comfortable linking your accounts.

During our SpinupWP review, we found that signing up via GitHub is perfect if you have an account. This will enable you to integrate your GitHub for features like “push-to-deploy.”
The best part is that you don’t have to add your credit card information or make any other commitment to sign up and access the advanced features of the product. Instead, you can just try them out for free.
Once you’ve signed up, the onboarding process will kick in, and you’ll be required to log in to your server.

As you can see, VULTR, Digital Ocean, HETZNER and Akamai (formerly Linode) offer free credits for new users. This makes it worth a shot for first-timers.
Here, click on the hosting provider of your choice and click the “Authorize” button if prompted.

With this single click, your server will be connected to your SpinupWP account.
During the SpinupWP review, we found that the platform provides you with options for provisions for your hosting.
Right after you connect your server to your SpinupWP account, you can start a new server on your hosting provider.

Here, we found that the best part about the platform is that you don’t have to visit the hosting provider’s website and make the provisions, and then connect it to your SpinupWP account.
Instead, you can make all the provisions from within the SpinupWP application.
For our SpinupWP review, we chose DigitalOcean hosting and SpinupWP provided all the server options DigitalOcean offers. All we had to do was pick the hosting provider of our choice and configure the database and hostname.
The platform then automatically sets up all the necessary software, fine-tunes the server, and everything else that’s required to run high-speed WordPress websites.

This takes about ten minutes, and you can leave the screen during this setup process.
Once you’re done with the server setup process, the platform requires you to install your website to SpinupWP.

Here, SpinupWP guides you through all the necessary options to install the site. You’ll have to provide your domain, set up HTTPS, and choose how you want WordPress installed.

During our SpinupWP review, we found that most of the default options are good to go, especially if you have limited technical knowledge.
However, if you like, you can customize the database name, username, and password. You can even change the system user, switch the PHP version, and turn off page caching.
And that’s it; the wizard will automatically install your WordPress website to the SpinupWP dashboard.

The dashboard is very simple but offers an intuitive design that we found useful during our SpinupWP review.
The best part here is that you can customize the dashboard to suit your requirements and preferences. However, the default look of the dashboard shows you a list of servers that contain associated sites.
It’s like you’re seeing the whole ecosystem at a glance. You can interact with the servers directly from the dashboard too.

Alright, getting started with SpinupWP seems easy enough that even someone from a non-technical background can easily install a website on the platform.
But what makes it worth going for SpinupWP is the advanced features it offers.
During our SpinupWP review, we had our eyes open for the most promising features the platform has.

During our SpinupWP review, we were astonished to see the plethora of valuable features the platform has to offer.

Although the software prefers to integrate with DigitalOcean as it offers a seamless onboarding and connectivity experience with this VPS, you can connect it with any VPS of your choice.
The platform claims to support Akamai, Google Cloud, Vultr, AWS, and any other VPS that has a public IP address and a fresh install of the latest Ubuntu LTS.
As SpinupWP is specifically designed for WordPress, it offers multisite support. While performing our SpinupWP review, we found that with SpinupWP, enabling the multisite network is super easy.
All you have to do is toggle a switch during the new site creation wizard and select a subdomain configuration.
This means that you don’t have to fiddle with your “wp-config.php” file or install the network.
SpinupWP is equipped with the best and latest software versions of PHP, NGINX, Redis, and MySQL/MariaDB.
During our review, we also found that the platform offers an “apt-get upgrade,” which means that even if you disconnect from SpinupWP in the future, you can keep your packages updated post the disconnection too.
Of course, you can add your own SSL/TLS certificates to SpinupWP. But what’s more exciting is that the platform offers them for free with its packages.

When a user adds a site to SpinupWP, they can acquire a free Let’s Encrypt SSL/TLS certificate and install and configure it for their site. The best part is that SpinupWP will take care of the acquisition, installation, and configuration process.
The platform also handles certificate renewals, which means you don’t have to worry about your site security at all.
SpinupWP implements security isolation for each site that’s been added to the server. Every time a new site is provisioned, the system creates a new system user for that particular site.
Moreover, during the review, we found that each site has access to only its own files, which means that even if one site has a security vulnerability or gets infected with malware, the threat remains restricted to it.
That said, SpinupWP leaves no scope for security breaches. The platform is agile in terms of configuring the server and installing security updates as soon as they’re available, making it very secure.
It is true that every server provider offers automated site backups for a fee, and they’re very crucial for the safety of your database, but SpinupWP is different.
Unlike conventional automated site backups, the SpinupWP site backups can be configured so you get to decide what you want to back up. You can choose from a database backup, site files backup, or an entire database and files backup.
Once the files and database are backed up, you can easily restore sites or even files with a few clicks. The platform also allows you to manually backup your database and files whenever you want.
Your sites can run different versions of PHP on the SpinupWP server. During our review, we found that we could run several sites on PHP 8, whereas one of our sites only supported PHP 7.4. Luckily, there was a provision for this too. You can also update your sites to run on the latest PHP versions.
SpinupWP offers REST API and PHP SDK that help users spin up servers and create and manage WordPress sites remotely without having to log into the dashboard.
Users can script repeatable tasks and automate processes to improve efficiency and eliminate repetitive work too.
Caching is the key element for high-performing WordPress sites and helps them load quickly. With SpinupWP, all your sites are set up with Redis object caching to lower database requests.
The platform makes caching as easy as checking a box. Users can enjoy full-page caching to eliminate PHP use and deliver written content and visuals at lightning-fast speeds.
SpinupWP has pre-configured cache rules for WordPress and WooCommerce. Our review revealed that the platform also implements browser caching for status assets like JavaScript, images, fonts, CSS, etc.
SpinupWP provides web server-level redirects. The platform even lets you redirect from one domain to another domain or subdomain with these redirects.
We found this feature useful during our review.
Such features of SpinupWP are bliss for WordPress development. The developers can add a Git repository to their SpinupWP sites, define the preferred branch to deploy from, and straightaway push the brand for code deployment.
The platform offers a default composer on all SpinupWP sites, which is 100% compatible with WordPress boilerplate projects such as Bedrock.
This is a new feature that SpinupWP launched recently. It allows you a one-click admin login to any WordPress site from your dashboard. This is especially useful for users on the team plan.
